SEO Content Manager

Reporting to the Head of SEO, the SEO Content Manager will be accountable for all web content published across multiple brands including strategy, execution, and analysis. 

 

  • Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 plus a discretionary 10% bonus
  • Location: London Liverpool Street
  • Working Model: 3 Days In Office, 2 Days WFH
About the Role

As the SEO Content Manager, you will be responsible for the content strategy and execution across multiple brands and sites. You’ll work with the Head of SEO to establish a strategy to drive traffic and conversions, ROI, and identify and fill in keyword gaps.

You’ll be accountable for determining what on-site content is produced each month, managing a team of copywriters to produce the content, and putting the content on site with on-page optimisations. You’ll also be accountable for analysing and reporting on content performance.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven and creative, enjoy problem solving, and comfortable multitasking and working across multiple brands. 

 

Role Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of SEO to develop content strategies across multiple brands.
  • Execute an ongoing content strategy to achieve SEO KPIs.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify target keywords to incorporate content.
  • Manage, segment and report on tracked keywords and the performance of all published content
  • Analyse data to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Manage a copywriting team for large-scale content production 
  • Craft strategies to target placement in featured snippets and rich results utilising on-site content
  • Review and approve all content published on the website

 

Skills and Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in an SEO or content-marketing-focused role 
  • Advanced knowledge of on-page SEO 
  • Experience in local SEO
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Literature, or a related field
  • Advanced skills in copywriting, copy editing, keyword research, and data analysis
  • Experience with analytical tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog. 
  • Ability to analyse data, identify content gaps and keyword opportunities, and translate web performance to ROI.
